Happy Mother's Day!

Okay, I have the most awesome children. They have a longstanding tradition of bringing me breakfast in bed on Mother's Day, and I feel so fortunate! What started out as cold toast & a microwave egg has evolved into something that could rival IHOP! Justin, Jordan, and Emily were the stars this morning - cooking up strawberry crepes, hashbrowns, and orange julius. Yum! They even bring enough for Dave to have breakfast with me. What thoughtful kids! Truly a great way to start out this Mother's Day!

Jordan always likes to stir things up...

Here's the finished product...

Here's to a happy Mother's Day to all you beautiful mothers!!

What a wonderful breakfast! I look forward to when Zaylee is old enough to bring me cold toast and spilled orange juice! And I look forward even more to when she's old enough to make something like you had this morning! Happy Mother's Day!

Kathy, did you mention that the kids even took the pictures? You were bummed that you didn't have pictures that you could put on your blog, and then Justin had even thought of that! Yup, you've got great kids all right - and at least part of the credit goes to their having a great Mom!

Like Nicia said, I'm a lucky (blessed) man!

Love you,
Dave

How sweet! And that's great that you let them. Mom never liked breakfast in bed, I guess it felt too lazy. We only tried a couple of times. She would eat it and thank us, but it just wasn't her thing. Hugs, though, she loves! And she loves when we cook meals, she just doesn't want to eat them in her bed. :-) Glad you had a great mother's day!
