Parade Fun

Dave's family usually gets together for the Provo 4th of July parade, but this year everyone was kind of doing their own thing. Since we're parade diehards, Justin, Jordan, Emily, and I kept the tradition and headed over for some parade fun. I was in a hurry so didn't grab any lawn chairs, but luck was with us as we found a great spot and someone offered us their extra chairs! There was cloud cover, so it was perfect weather for a parade! Later we joined some of Dave's family for a barbecue and everyone took a much needed rest time.

Love these smiles!

Our budding photographer took this shot - not bad!

You've just gotta love a good parade! I haven't braved it with the kids too many times because it is more hectic for us...but I can't wait till we CAN!

Did Rachel really post her comment at 3:20 am ?!! That looked like tons of fun. I wish I was there....except where was my dad? Probably sleeping in or something, huh? :)

Looks like you had a lot of fun. Emily's getting good with that camera! I can't wait until I feel safe wearing white anywhere but pictures! (and special places...)

Jeff and I went to the parade in Rexburg every year. I remember the first year we were married, we lived in an apartment right on Main street where the parade went by. I was pregnant, so Jeff and one of our friends carried our love seat down from our apartment to the street (over 40 stairs) for me to sit on! Oh, the memories!
