Keeping Cool Without a Pool

Emily was invited to join some friends of ours for a water gun fight in the park. It was 100 degrees outside, so keeping cool was a bit of a priority. They had a great time while I got the lawns mowed. The lady in the striped shirt is my good friend, Paula, who took care of Chipper while we were in D.C. She loved him so much she almost didn't give him back!

Gearing up for the fight

Ready, aim, fire!

Emily WANTED to get dunked in the water :)

No wonder it's hard to get ahold of that girl! That looks like SOOO much fun!! I'm so jealous. You know...the older and older I get the more I realize how incredibly lucky you are to have that big park in the backyard.

Those are some intense water guns! No wonder they all had so much fun soaking one another!

DEFINITELY the right way to keep cool!!! :) Looks like SO much fun. I do love that big park behind you guys. It's GREAT!

By the way, don't forget to enter in the big giveaway on my blog! I can TOTALLY see some of those beautiful dresses on you---so put your name in before you leave for the reunion!

That is such a good idea. It is pretty hot without A/C and with only one fan.
